What is it: landscape design, or landscape planning?

Landscape design (landscape planning) is artistic decoration of household residential ground and its natural components: relief, water reservoirs and plantings by means of diverse composition solutions.

• Where to start with landscape design?
• First of answer following questions:
• Where do you spend most of your time? In shadow or in the sun?
• Would you like to make waterworks, fountains or a steady swimming pool on the territory?
• At what time of the day you and your relatives stay in the garden, in the garden and other places of the ground area?
• Are you going to play sport games near your house? Which kinds of sports? What equipement will be needed?
• Which buildings would you like to include in the landscape plan of your ground area (pavilions, a terrace, bridges, stone gardens)? In which parts of the territories should they be placed?
• Are you going to look after the ground area yourself or to hire a special staff? Will you need a compost pit?
• Are you going to organize a fruit garden, grassy sweep or vegetable patches?
• Is any member of your family allergic against any kinds of plants?
• Would you like to install separate lighting of the garden, alleys, some plants or swimming pool?
• How much time are you ready to spend for looking after your ground area?
• How are you going to organize irrigation of the ground? Automatically or manually?
• How deep are located ground waters near your house?

This short list of questions is to answer first of all. It is better to do in advance to avoid additional expenses during realization of the project.
